CANADA HUNT ATLAS

Privacy

This notice describes the new national portal and how it connects to the existing Saskatchewan tools.

Accounts and personal records

Your Saskatchewan tools are still available at skhunter.ca. Sign in again on this domain to access account-synced records; guest records stay in the browser and domain where they were created.

The planning tools use the existing account system. Personal notes, contact records and saved trips are not published in the national directory. Access to an account still requires authentication. Use the existing export/import tools before changing domains if you rely on guest-only records.

Map and external resources

The basemap uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading it sends your IP address and map-tile requests to the tile provider. We do not request your device location.

Official-source links open third-party services governed by their own privacy policies. The Alberta layer is a local copy of public management-area data; using its search does not send your search text to the Alberta service.

Site operations and requests

The local web server processes requests to deliver pages and protect accounts. Existing site tools may record limited usage information for administration, as explained in the Saskatchewan privacy notice. No advertising code is added to this new portal in this release.

Aggregate public-page counts

The national portal and Saskatchewan public-page aliases count successful public-page requests for site administration. Only a date, public path and count are retained, for up to 90 local calendar days. These are page requests, not unique visitors or individual browsing histories.

This counter stores no IP addresses, cookies, account IDs, referrers, search/query values, private notes, contacts or trips. Requests carrying Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded. Known bots and prefetches are filtered, although some automated traffic may remain.
